Katie was listed as a senior by the shelter, but we believe she is only about 5-6 years old. She underwent surgery to repair an inguinal hernia and she had a dental as well.  Unfortunately, Katie is heartworm positive so she will need to undergo treatment before she will be released for adoption.  

She is very sweet, loves being picked up and held, walks well on a leash and she is crate trained. She also appears to be mostly housebroken, but time will tell. She’s active and bouncy, but she does show signs of separation anxiety. She would do best in a family with someone who is home a good deal of the time. She will need to be securely crated when she is left unsupervised. She’s a real Lovebug!
