Valentine is a 16 lbs Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix that came to us with Ginny as part of a cruelty seizure in early February of last year.  Her age is estimated at 5-7 years. 

Val was an absolute mess when she arrived – sparse, patchy fur, raging infections, extremely itchy, leathery skin, cloudy eyes, etc. And though her body told us she had given birth recently, we weren’t privy to the details of the ongoing cruelty investigation.  

Fast forward seven months, two hospitalizations, loads of specialized care, and a biologically appropriate diet filled with all the important nutrients she needed to heal… and VOILA, she has blossomed into a spunky little spitfire who is pretty full of herself.  And why wouldn’t she be?  Her coat is absolutely dreamy - extraordinarily soft and so lush!  She has filled out a bit and looks absolutely adorable. 

She struts a Chi-like attitude and she can be pretty bossy with other dogs (especially females) so a home with a laidback male or an only-dog home would be best for her.
